LIPOR celebrates Safety and Health at Work Week

As part of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, which was celebrated on April 28, LIPOR will promote an entire week of Occupational Safety and Health activities.

From April 29th to May 3rd, several initiatives will be promoted with the aim of raising awareness among Employees, Suppliers, Customers and Visitors for the importance of Health and Safety at the Workplace.

From the Program of the Week, the initiative "3, 2, 1 – Security Action” stands out, in which an actress, embodying a character, will approach Employees in their workspace in a playful way, raising awareness of the issues of safety and health.

The program also includes:

Filming of the actions to create awareness videos to be used along the year;
Employees "Vox Pop” on the topic of Security and Safety;
1 Minute of Safety | All Teams, in their weekly meetings, will address a Security Case, to be considered and evaluated, presenting the best measures to mitigate the hazards of the situation;
Visit us Safely | All visitors will receive a leaflet with detailed information on the topic and the security measures to be adopted in our facilities;
Photography Contest | As the theme of the 2024 edition of World Day for Safety and Health at Work is "The Impact of Climate Change on Safety and Health at Work”, Employees were challenged to present photographs related to the theme;
Useful information displayed in the various internal communication channels.

This initiative aims to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses, raising awareness to these issue and present ways to promote and create safety and health at the workplace.
