Lipor's Sorting Plant
How it work
The materials from the yellow Ecocontainer, the door-to-door packaging collection, the Ecofone and other special circuits are discharged in the Sorting Plant reception area. These discharges are subject to an inspection, to record its quality.
An employee, through a shovel loader, feed a carrier, docked in a pit that, in a controlled way, feeds the oblique carrier.
The materials are placed in the pre-sorting cabin, where pre-sorting is done, in the pre-sorting table, a sorting of 3 streams - large film - large rejected - other materials of large dimension.
After it passes the pre-sorting cabin, the materials are forwarded to a bag opener, where the closed bags are ripped, to homogenize the material.
All materials sorted into sorting cabins are placed on the ground Ø, divided by wooden walls (boxes).
They are then pushed with the help of a shovel loader or stacker, for a carrier, situated between the two lines (flat-rolling).
Each material is forwarded to the carrier that discharges in the hopper to feed the press.
The materials are pressed, being produced bales of about 1 m3.
After the bales produced, are forwarded to a temporary storage, where they await the trucks that will transport to recycling industries.
The materials, which in the ballistic followed the path of the rolling, through the transporter of the rolling, are forwarded, after going through a second transporter of rolling, to the respective hopper.
Before they get to the rolling hopper, the materials pass through two automatic sorting systems:
The materials, after passing the Open-bags (so that the bags are opened and the material homogenate), are forwarded by the carrier ballistic transporter, to the ballistic sorter.
Ballistic sorting equipment is a device that allows the sorting of material in 3 fractions: Thin – Rolling - Flat.
The Ballistic sorting equipment is assembled with a pre-defined inclination, and consists of a set of perforated bars, which in a continuous movement, sorting the materials as follows:
The rolling sent to the respective hopper, are transported to the rolling sorting cabin.
The sorting cabin consists of two rows of parallel sorting, where is sorted sequentially 4 materials, with a maximum of 6 Employees per line.
After the sorting of the 4 materials in its work area, each employee gives indication of the end of the operation, by pressing a button. When the last employee of the line give the end indication, the sorting table back to advance, filling the work area.
After the sorting of the 4 materials in two sorting rows, it remain 2 more types of materials, which are automatically sorted forward. (ALUMINUM-REJECTED)
The materials follows to Foucault currents, where aluminum is sorted by a magnetic flux process that allows automatic sorting of the material. The remaining material is considered process rejected.
The materials out of the ballistic by the flat fraction are forwarded to a sorting line.
The plans carrier forwards the materials to another carrier, and in the interconnection between both there is a system of automatic vacuum suction for lighter and flexible materials.
The non - sucked materials are forwarded to the continued sorting line through a feeder carrier.
The sorting line is occupied by 1 or 2 employees, which remove packaging and film, being the rest considered rejected, and following in negative. It should be noted that this fraction is relatively small.
The materials, after the exit of the ballistic, by the roller fraction, or by the flat fraction, are subject to an automatic suction system that captures the lighter and flexible materials, directing them, through a system of pipes with air induced and forwards them to a rotary air sorter.
The sucked sorting line may be occupied by a flexible number of employees, depending on production levels and the needs of the operation. In normal situation it may be occupied by 12 employees
