Transparency, a core value guiding LIPOR’s activities, requires that its employees’ conduct aligns with ethical and professional standards that reflect high moral and professional integrity.
To this end, LIPOR has deemed it essential to create and disseminate a Code of Ethics and Conduct that appropriately reflects the organization’s values and the standards expected from all employees. To make this document easier to read, LIPOR has produced a simpler and more direct version, the Code of Ethics and Conduct – Guiding Principles (document in Portuguese), which will soon be available in English.
In order to oversee the implementation of the Code of Ethics, and as mandated by the Code itself, LIPOR has established an Ethics Committee. The main function of this Committee is to monitor the Code's implementation and review any reported irregularities, serving as a resource for resolving issues and addressing problems arising from non-compliance.
The Committee also collaborates closely with Social Responsibility initiatives, particularly through the Employee Representative, given the strong interconnection between these two areas.
