Innovation Management System

LIPOR puts innovation at the centre of its strategy for creating value and developing sustainable solutions, promoting an innovation culture that is transversal across the entire Organisation.

In 2012, LIPOR certified its Research, Development and Innovation Management System for the first time according to NP 4457, consolidating a structured approach to innovation management.

In 2026, LIPOR took a step further in this journey by completing the transition to ISO 56001:2024 and obtaining certification according to this international benchmark for Innovation Management Systems. This transition reflects the evolution and maturity of LIPOR’s Innovation Management System, reinforcing the Organisation’s alignment with international best practice and its capacity to transform knowledge, opportunities and ideas into solutions with impact.

The Innovation Management System is implemented throughout the Organisation, supporting the research, development and innovation of sustainable waste management solutions.
