LIPOR and Porto Fashion School inaugurate the exhibition "RU.A"
From memory, we create trends!
From July 11 to August 10, 2025, the LIPOR Administrative Building will host an exhibition that combines sustainability, fashion, and urban expression. Titled "RU.A", the show results from a creative collaboration between the Porto Fashion School (EMP) and LIPOR, proposing a new perspective on textile waste and end-of-life uniforms.
The exhibition will remain open to the public through August 10, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, and can be visited independently.
The collection was developed by three EMP students using old uniforms of LIPOR workers, reinventing them through the Upcycling technique. The result is a mini collection consisting of six coordinated outfits inspired by street culture - the environment where waste is collected - and the urban arts that flourish there, such as graffiti.
The pieces explore the contrast between fluid and structured shapes: wide pants, asymmetric skirts, and body-fitted crop tops reflect a bold and contemporary silhouette, designed to attract the public to the urban sphere and provoke reflection on consumption, disposal, and reuse.
Once again, LIPOR's Lifestyle shows that it is fashionable. Visit us!
