LIPOR celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day with a focus on the circular economy
On 21 April, LIPOR marked World Creativity and Innovation Day with a special initiative at its CEL – Experimentation Centre, offering the public a guided tour dedicated to showcasing sustainable solutions developed by the organisation.
The initiative brought together participants interested in discovering, in a close and practical way, the work carried out by LIPOR in the field of resource recovery and the promotion of the circular economy. Throughout the visit, attendees were able to explore a range of innovative products and solutions resulting from the transformation of waste into new resources, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to sustainable practices.
Among the highlights were the Walllie wall‑mounted recycling bin, the artificial aggregate AAGE 32 and different types of slags, including ferrous and non‑ferrous metals. Several substrates produced by LIPOR were also presented, such as Nutrimais Universal, Horticultural, Aromatic, Acidic Plants and Fruit Trees, as well as the vermicompost.
With free participation and limited places, the initiative created an environment of proximity and knowledge sharing, allowing visitors to engage directly with concrete solutions and understand the impact of innovation on the efficient management of resources.
By promoting this type of initiative, LIPOR reinforces its role as a reference organisation in the field of sustainability, actively contributing to raising community awareness and disseminating practices aligned with the principles of the circular economy.
