LIPOR's Adventure Park & Ecological Trail have opened their doors for the season! LIPOR's Adventure Park & Ecological Trail reopened its doors on May 6, presenting a wide range of activities for all weekends.

This space for environmental and social education and sustainability, located at LIPOR's facilities in Ermesinde/Baguim do Monte, is ready to welcome you and the whole family.

LIPOR's Adventure Park & Eco-Trail is an area that has been awarded with the Green Flag Award. This recognition is an international quality reference awarded to public green spaces. Over 25 years old, the Green Flag Award® is an international non-profit accreditation programme that recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green areas since 1996. It is managed internationally by Keep Britain Tidy and a network of partners that offer the programme nationally.

This Award acknowledges LIPOR's pioneering strategy, which dates back to the 90’s, of transforming the space of the old landfill into an Adventure Park & Ecological Trail, located in Ermesinde (Valongo) and Baguim do Monte (Gondomar). In this infrastructure, we welcome more than fifty thousand visitors every year to explore and enjoy green areas while learning about waste and biodiversity.

Between the months of May and October, on weekends, the Adventure Park is open between 10am and 8pm, and the Ecological Trail can be visited every day between 8am and 8pm.

These spaces are free and have open access.
