LIPOR's Customised Environmental Intervention Service (SIAC) implemented at Matosinhos City Hall

Matosinhos municipality, in partnership with LIPOR, is implementing waste management improvement initiatives at the City Hall building.

As part of this initiative, around 60 pieces of multi-material separation equipment have been installed and approximately 300 ordinary waste bins have been removed, some of which have been converted to the paper/cardboard flow. In addition, 60 ecobags were made available for recycling.

The Customised Environmental Intervention Service (SIAC) is aimed at educational, social or business organisations that need specialised technical support in operationalising their waste management process.

Developed in full co-ordination with the municipal services, the SIAC is presented as a proximity offer, based on a simple but ambitious approach, which changes the reality of waste management in institutions, making it regular and sustainable.
