LIPOR will be in Barbados: consortium with CH Consulting wins tender for consultancy on 3R-CREWS project
CH Consulting, in partnership with LIPOR, has won an important tender to carry out an ambitious consultancy project in Barbados. The project, part of the 3R-CREWS program, aims to develop and implement a KAP (Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices) study, create educational materials and promote a training program tailored to local needs. The project is expected to last 26 months.
The focus of the project is to improve waste management, with an emphasis on reduction, reuse, and recycling (3R). To this end, the partnership between CH Consulting and LIPOR will be responsible for developing a series of specific actions, divided into six key stages.
- Diagnosis and Methodology: Definition of the methodology and collection of information to understand the current perceptions and behaviour of the target population, as well as to identify areas for improvement.
- Auditing the target audience: Consultation to identify gaps that hinder changes in behaviour and propose solutions that promote more effective communication.
- Data processing: Data analysis and report resulting from the consultation process.
- Training: Development of a training program to broaden the beneficiaries' knowledge and meet their needs.
- Communication: Promotion of activities to involve identified target audiences, stakeholders, and the client.
- Recommendations: Full evaluation of the effectiveness of the training, identification of lessons learned and recommendations for future training and development actions.
With this achievement, CH Consulting and LIPOR reinforce their commitment to sustainability and environmental education, contributing to the implementation of more sustainable practices to combat climate change, focusing on the water sector and waste management in Barbados in partnership with its Ministry of Education.
