LIPOR Participates in Roundtable on Current Challenges of Sustainability Reporting

On January 23, LIPOR participated in the "Roundtable: Current Challenges of Non-Financial Reporting - Norms & Education," which focused on the new regulatory framework for sustainability reporting and its challenges and opportunities for professionals, universities, and companies.

The session, part of the 10th GECAMB/P-CSEAR & XXIV Grudis Conference and Doctoral Colloquium, was moderated by Teresa Eugénio from CARME - Center for Applied Research in Management and Economics at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria/CSEAR IA - Centre for Social Environmental Accounting Research. Participants included Márcio Pereira from the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants, Cláudia Teixeira from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and Maria do Céu Silva, representing LIPOR.

The conference took place from January 23 to 25, bringing together GECAMB/CSEAR Portugal from CARME (IPL) and the Grudis Conference and Doctoral Colloquium from the Grudis Accounting Research Network for the first time. The event also aimed to promote the dissemination of academic knowledge through the presentation of scientific papers and doctoral research projects and foster professional networking and collaboration opportunities among participants.

The School of Communication, Administration, and Tourism at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança organized the event.
