How LIPOR in 2024 contributed to building a better world

This pioneering path has made LIPOR a benchmark and trusted brand for national and international players who, through successful partnerships and complementary skills, believe in a vast and interdisciplinary team of LIPOR consultants who put their knowledge at the disposal of international clients and projects.

In 2024, 7 services were being provided, and 3 project negotiations were active. The services provided refer to projects developed in Angola, Barbados, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Spain and one with a wider application, under development with the IDB - Inter-American Development Bank, to be applied in Latin America. The projects under negotiation are for Argentina, Brazil and Tunisia.

86% of services took place in LIPOR's Preferred Markets.

Five new proposals were approved - Circular Economy in Angola, KAP Study for Barbados, WAYSTE Tomiño - Spain, Preparation of a Strategic Plan for Manaus, Brazil and the Project with the IDB to develop a continuous improvement tool for solid waste system operators.

In 13 years of INTERNATIONAL activity, LIPOR has provided 31 services in 20 countries.

This growth and consolidation of LIPOR's international activity in 2024 is yet another contribution to LIPOR's position as an international benchmark.

It should be noted that LIPOR is the only public entity in the Portuguese waste management sector to provide international technical assistance.
