LIPOR develops training program for Camões I.P. as part of CITRES Project

As part of the CITRES Project - Integrated Solid Waste Collection and Treatment Centre on Maio Island in Cape Verde, Lipor has developed a Training Program for Camões, I.P.. 

For three days, the participants will have the opportunity to visit Lipor's infrastructures and take part in technical meetings with the Management Team, promoting the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the urban waste management sector.

The Camões, I.P. delegation is made up of the new CITRES MAIO Project Coordinator, who will take up his duties on Maio Island during the month of April, and the Camões, I.P. Project Manager, based in Lisbon.

LIPOR maintains its commitment to sharing know-how and experience in the areas of waste management, sustainability and the circular economy of materials, reinforcing its commitment to international cooperation and strengthening partnerships.

The CITRES May Project is co-financed by the European Union and Portuguese Cooperation, through Camões, I.P., which, in addition to financial support, ensures the implementation of the project under the delegated cooperation model.
