Members of the Lower Saxony environment committee visit LIPOR facilities
On May 9th, a delegation of deputies from the Environment Committee of the Parliament of Lower Saxony, Germany, visited Lipor's facilities to learn about the good practices and innovative solutions implemented in waste management in the region.
The visit included an institutional presentation on the work carried out by Lipor, followed by a question-and-answer session where the MPs were able to learn more about waste treatment and recovery systems.
Afterwards, the delegation had the opportunity to visit some of Lipor's most emblematic infrastructures, namely:
The Drop-off-site, CREW - Electrical and Electronic Equipment Repair Center, TAE - Automatic Packaging Sorting and CVO - Organic Recovery Plant, where we produce Nutrimais.
This visit reinforced the exchange of experiences between Lower Saxony and Portugal with regard to environmental policies and sustainable waste management, highlighting Lipor's role as a benchmark in the sector.
The German delegation was impressed by Lipor's technological solutions and environmental commitment, and considered the visit a valuable opportunity to inspire future legislative and operational initiatives in the state of Lower Saxony.
