LIPOR welcomes students from the USA

On May 16, LIPOR welcomed a group of 20 students and teachers from the University of South Carolina, United States of America, as part of an Academic Travel Program dedicated to the study of different industries, with emphasis on waste management and recovery.

The visit allowed the participants, mostly management students, to learn about the work carried out by LIPOR and its innovative strategies for the treatment and recovery of municipal waste. During the meeting, the group had the opportunity to visit two facilities that are fundamental to Lipor's operations:

Lipor continues to position itself as a benchmark in the sector, not only at a national level, but also as a case study for foreign institutions looking for efficient and sustainable solutions around waste.
