LIPOR selected for Urban Cooperation Programme with Latin America and the Caribbean

LIPOR has been selected to participate in the IURC Latin America and the Caribbean programme (International Urban and Regional Cooperation). This European Union initiative aims to promote sustainable cooperation between cities and regions.

The main goal is to share knowledge and best practices in the field of municipal solid waste management and recovery, and it will run from 2025 to 2027.

This collaboration will enable LIPOR to export its know-how and contribute to the development of more sustainable solutions, while at the same time strengthening Greater Porto’s position as a pioneering region in circular economy at an international level.
