LIPOR International is in Cape Verde

As part of the service provision of LIPOR International – Global Waste Management taking place on Maio Island, a team of LIPOR consultants is currently on site to carry out an extensive programme of activities.

CITRES – Integrated Centre for Waste Collection and Treatment on Maio Island is a project funded by the European Union and CAMÕES, I.P., with LIPOR acting as an implementing partner and waste management expert. The project has been under implementation since 2024.

This mission aims to promote several meetings with the Municipal Council of Maio (the beneficiary) to present technical solutions and ongoing work, deliver two capacity-building courses to specific stakeholders, hold a Steering Committee meeting, and conduct various meetings and visits with partners and potential future partners of the Project.
