LIPOR referenced at COP30 by the Municipality of Manaus

LIPOR was referenced at COP30 during the presentation made by the Municipality of Manaus of the Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan of Manaus (PMSBM).

This Strategic Plan includes four components: water supply, wastewater management, stormwater management, solid waste management and urban cleaning.

The LIPOR International – Global Waste Management team was responsible for preparing the 20-year Waste Component Forecast, an essential contribution to the future of sustainable waste management in the city of Manaus.

The 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) began on 10 November in the city of Belém, in the heart of the Amazon (Brazil). It is the largest annual global climate conference, bringing together world leaders, scientists, non-governmental organisations and civil society representatives to discuss concrete actions to tackle climate change.
