Ambassador of El Salvador visits LIPOR

The Ambassador of El Salvador to Portugal visited LIPOR on January 15 to learn about the public urban waste management system, considered a national benchmark in Portugal.

She was accompanied by the Portugal-South Atlantic Chamber of Commerce, whose mission is to bring Portuguese companies closer to Latin American markets and which is currently organizing a business mission to El Salvador, with the support and involvement of the Salvadoran Embassy.

Urban waste management is a major challenge for El Salvador, and the visit helped to identify opportunities for cooperation and specialized technical consultancy.
