LIPOR in Mexico as Keynote Speaker
LIPOR International was invited to speak at the event "Acuerdo Global Modernizado México - Unión Europea | Presentación de: Manual de Simbiosis Industrial Caso Chihuahua", held in Mérida on 25 September.
The event was supported by the European Union, the Government of the State of Yucatán, and Chihuahua Green, an organisation promoting circular economy practices in Mexico.
Recognised as a successful case study, LIPOR delivered a presentation entitled "From Waste Management to a Territorial Circular Economy”, showcasing a systemic approach to organising the urban waste sector and highlighting how an association of eight municipalities addressed the challenge of implementing integrated, circular and sustainable waste management across the Greater Porto region.
The LIPOR case study had a very positive impact on the audience and was presented as an inspiring example for Mexican regions currently facing similar challenges, as they take their first steps towards the regional and national structuring of the sector.
LIPOR International is currently implementing the IURC-LAC Project and, within this framework, is working with the Chihuahua region in Mexico.
LIPOR International – Global Waste Management is increasingly sought after as a specialist in the field, reflecting its recognised expertise and experience in integrated, circular and sustainable waste management.
