ACR+ elects new Governing Bodies for Mandate 2022-2024

LIPOR continues to be Vice-President of the Association

The General Assembly of ACR+ (Association of Cities and Regions for Sustainable Waste Management) took place on 9 and 10 June, where the new governing bodies for the mandate 2022-2024 were elected. The members present showed their confidence in Iain Gulland, President of Zero Waste Scotland, having been re-elected for the new 2-year mandate.

As a result of its international recognition, LIPOR was once again re-elected as Vice-President of the Association, a reason that fills the Organisation with pride and demonstrates the active and leading role it has played in the field of waste management internationally.

LIPOR's association with ACR+ is an opportunity that enables the Organisation to promote benchmarking, enhance multi-stakeholder platforms, participate in international working groups, participate in the co-creation of European directives that meet its real needs and, at the same time, develop competencies.
