LIPOR promotes a beach campaign “Há Rio e Mar, Há Lixo para Transformar” through its associated municipalities

"Há Rio e Mar, Há Lixo para Transformar” (There are rivers and oceans, there is waste to transform) is LIPOR's project to change behavior and prevent Marine Litter
Betting on changing the behavior of citizens, showing that marine waste starts with the choices we make at home and that it is vital to preserving the oceans, LIPOR and its Associated Municipalities launched the campaign "Há Rio e Mar, Há Lixo para Transformar”.

From July 24th through August 15th, the Beach Campaign will cover eight beaches in LIPOR's Municipalities, where, on the sand, bathers and the community in general will have access to information on good practices for prevention and fighting of Marine Litter. The staff involved in this initiative will also give bathers a bag to put the waste produced on the beach.

On the way out, if they go to the "Há Rio e Mar” area and hand in the bag with materials for recycling, they will receive a cloth bag with the 10 tips from the Good Practices Guide.

The dates and locations of the Beach Action are as follows:
