The LIPOR Adventure Park & Ecological Trail are on, starting May 4th

From May 4th, LIPOR Adventure Park & Ecological Trail begin the high season, with a series of activities that promote education, sustainability and the well-being of the community. Until October 31st, in groups or individually, adults and children will be able to enjoy a program that will make spring and summer days even more exciting.

Among the activities planned for this year are workshops and themed events in the area of sustainability, as well as cultural and sporting initiatives. The 2024 highlights include initiatives promoting the prevention of waste production and citizen science – Bioblitz LIPOR, environmental Geocaching, second-hand markets, repair cafes – as well as the already traditional celebrations of Children's Day, the Environment Day, Park Dance and Foam Party and Halloween.

Another new feature in the 2024 program is the "Folhinhas Moment”. Every weekend, children and adults will be able to interact with the Recycling Champion – Folhinhas and take photographs.

The Adventure Park & Ecological Trail is one of the facilities in which LIPOR promotes environmental education initiatives, both for the general population and for organized groups and companies. The Park also offers areas that can be reserved for birthday celebrations on weekends and free use of children's playgrounds, radical playgrounds, mini golf and trail routes.

The Adventure Park is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, between 10am and 8pm and the Ecological Trail is open every day, from 8am to 8pm. The access is free. Participation in the activities is subject to a symbolic cost, which consists on the delivery of 1 kg of paper or plastic, metal or glass packaging.

The program can be followed on Parque Aventura's Facebook page and in the Agenda on LIPOR website. The Adventure Park & Ecological Trail is located in Ermesinde/Baguim do Monte.
