LIPOR, Porto Ambiente and FAP come together for recycling at Porto Queima das Fitas

LIPOR in partnership with Porto Ambiente and the Porto Academic Federation (FAP) was present at another edition of Queima das Fitas.

The joint work on raising awareness, monitoring and container distribution made it possible to send 68% of the waste generated in this initiative for recycling, of which we can highlight the 17 tonnes of glass.

This was a joint effort that mobilized a team of volunteers from the Environmental Mission to raise awareness among all participants, in order to ensure the correct recycling of waste.

FAP demonstrated its commitment to the city's carbon neutrality target for 2030, in line with the objectives of the Porto Climate Pact that the institution subscribed to since its inception and with the Pact of Queima das Fitas do Porto for the Climate, a pioneering initiative carried out in this edition and which LIPOR is also a subscriber.
