FOR SOME IT'S GARBAGE, FOR OTHERS IT'S COMPOST: LIPOR's new Home Composting campaign

Home composting continues to be a curious concept to most people: not everyone knows what it is or how it is done. Furthermore, there are several foods and leftovers that are "discriminated” every day and sent to the garbage bin as if they were no different. Onion skins, stalks and even grass clippings are special and should be treated differently. "Because they are not garbage, they are compost”, is what we will show in the new communication and awareness campaign by LIPOR and its 8 Associated Municipalities!

This campaign, dedicated to citizens of the 8 Associated Municipalities of LIPOR, aims to inform the community about what home composting is, the real effects of composting, how it is made and its impacts on the planet. In addition, we will share the benefits for the community as consumers, such as cost reduction, as well as the connection with the Environment and Sustainability.
